DOT Hazmat General Awareness - This DOT Hazmat Training course is designed to provide you the basic information about hazardous materials and Hazardous Material Regulations (“HMR”). Also, after completing this course, you will be able to determine the required shipping documents and other necessary requirements of dealing with the hazardous material.

Online Hazmat Training

OSHA University offers a variety of Hazmat Training Courses depending on your companies needs and federal OSHA hazmat training requirements. We offer online hazmat training and certifications in the following areas:

Hazwoper 40 Hour - Specifically developed for workers that are involved in hazardous material clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations or emergency response operations. It also covers storage, disposal and treatment of hazardous substances. The 40 hazwoper online training meets the standard requirements of 40 hours initial training.

Hazwoper 24 Hour - This 24 hour hazwoper training course covers the requirements for certification to the 24 hour Occasional site worker level for hazardous materials training.

8 Hour Hazwoper Refresher - Our online hazwoper refresher course meets the requirements for 8 hours of refresher training for employees that work at hazardous waste sites or are required to handle hazardous materials. This is the OSHA required annual hazwoper refresher training.

Hazwoper 1st Responder Awareness Level - This hazwoper course covers hazard recognition at work sites. It covers identifying different types of hazards and suggests precautions to take to reduce and eliminate hazards in the workplace.

Hazwoper 1st Responder Operations Level II - This course covers broad issues pertaining to hazard recognition at work sites. This hazmat certification training covers different types of hazards and introduces precautions and protective measures to reduce and eliminate hazards in the workplace.
